Football and Fashion. What’s the correlation?
In the 90’s, current NFL coach and previous player, Deion Sanders, said, “If you look good, you feel good, If you feel good, you play good, If you play good, they pay good.”
Since then, Sanders quote has been embraced by all different industries, but here I want to talk about football.

Through Sanders push for aesthetics in the league, players began to personally connect the two, football and fashion. The idea of looking good, meaning you play good, and therefore will get paid good, will motivate anyone.
Now, after almost 30 years from Sanders idea, players still encapsulate this. Some more than others, such as Travis Kelce, Stefon Diggs, Tyrod Taylor, Odell Beckham Jr., and Justin Jefferson.
It’s needless to say that the correlation of football and fashion has taken off and made a brand of itself. I like it. The connection of two stereotypical areas of masculine and feminine energy combining, it’s refreshing.
